Dr. Diane Pooler
Dr. Diane Pooler is a board-certified dentist from the state of California and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of California, San Francisco where she was a member of the Rho Rho Chapter of Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. She did her undergraduate education back east where she graduated with high honors from the University of Bridgeport with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene Education. Dr. Pooler has worked at her present office location for over 30 years. As a member of the Pacifica/Daly City community, she is committed to the dental health of its citizens and volunteers whenever possible. She has helped with yearly dental screenings and taught dental health at several local grade schools, and participated in the county-run program “Give Kids A Smile”. She also volunteers at the Samaritan House Free Clinic, a non-profit organization located in San Mateo. Dr. Pooler is a member in good standing with the San Mateo Dental Society, the California Dental Association and the American Dental Association. She has invested many hours yearly in continuing her dental education and has completed several prestigious study groups and hands-on courses held throughout the country. She is committed to comfortable, pain free, dentistry, and feels privileged to be able to help her patients achieve maximum dental health as well as a dazzling smile.
Cynthia – Office Manager
Cynthia has worked as a Dental Assistant, financial administrator and office manager for over 30 years. She is a highly organized and dedicated professional who maintains an efficient, compassionate, friendly, smoothly running office. She anticipates and meets the needs of the Pooler Dental staff as well as those of the patients while at the same time making sure that the business requirements of the office are met in a timely and accurate manner. Cynthia enjoys cooking, gardening, hiking, and traveling and has a talent for making patients feel comfortable not only with their treatment plan, but with their financial arrangements.
Tess – Schedule Coordinator
Tess has over 20 years experience in the administrative field at Pooler Dental. Her primary purpose is assisting patients with scheduling and the handling of their insurance. She is fluent in Spanish, an invaluable asset for our office with our Spanish speaking patients. Tess was born and raised in the Bay Area. During her time away from the office she enjoys reading, running, traveling and spending time with her son. Language spoken: Spanish
Kim – Dental Assistant
Kim has been Dr. Pooler’s primary Dental Assistant for over 4 years. She attended Jefferson High School and continued her education at Regional Occupation Program where she graduated in 2004 with a D.A. degree. She presently is taking classes at Skyline College, working towards a degree in Dental Hygiene. Kim is a very warm, comforting individual. She is active at her church where she enjoys singing in the choir. She also loves to spend quality time with friends and family.
Lynne – Hygienist
Lynne has 10 years of experience in the dental field working as a dental hygienist and as a dentist. Her diverse background and numerous talents bring depth of character to the fun and professional environment of Pooler Dental. Lynne is fluent in Tagalog. She strives to bring the highest quality of service to each patient while tailoring her skills to every individual’s needs. Flexible and multi-talented, she derives great pleasure from working at Pooler Dental. Language spoken: Tagalog
Katherine – Hygienist
Katherine received a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from the University of Pacific, Stockton and an Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Arts from College of San Mateo. Prior of becoming a dental hygienist, she worked as a Registered Dental Assistant at a pediatric office for many years. She currently has over 9 years of dental experience. Katherine keeps up with the latest techniques and technologies by attending continuing education courses throughout the year. She is a caring and kind person who takes pride in her work. In her spare time she enjoys running/walking, baking, wine tasting and trying out new restaurants, but mainly she enjoys spending time with family and friends. Language spoken: Mandarin
Jessica – Hygienist
Jessica received her Associates degree in Dental Hygiene from Western Career College and has 9 years of experience in the dental field. She spent 6 years working as a Registered Dental Assistant in a Pediatric dental office. She is also fluent in Spanish. She enjoys traveling, cooking and spending quality time with her family. She has a very gentle touch and makes sure her patients feel comfortable. Language spoken: Spanish
Janis – Hygienist
Janis has 22 years of experience in the dental field with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from Loyola University. She works for Pooler Dental as a caring and skilled Dental Hygienist. She takes the time to develop a relationship with her patients based on communication and trust so that her patients feel comfortable. She believes that prophylaxis combined with education is the best way to dental health. She also enjoys reading, volunteering at her children’s school and playing volleyball.
